The School Survival Guide, Section 1 Chapter 3: Education is Oppression | |
Question 6 Answer: True Education is a process of indoctrination to a political worldview (ethical relativity). From a psychological perspective, there is little difference between religious people and politicized people. They both engage in a form of "groupthink" in which they and their religious/political group are good/heroic, placing blame for any of the world's problems onto others, be they other religions, ethnicities, ideologies, political groups, or even supernatural entities. In other words, one psychological product of education is a mentality of blamelessness and lack of personal responsibility. |
